How To? Make OEM foglights work w/o harness
There are low-cost relay wiring kits for auxiliary lights available at Pep Boys and other similar stores. I believe Rally makes one such kit, though there are other brands as well. The basic instructions will be included with the kit.
To sum it up, you will ground the relay, then run a power lead from the battery to the relay. A second lead runs from your desired activation source (e.g. parking lights, head lights, etc.) to the relay. The third (power) lead runs from the the relay to the lights themselves. The switch is placed in-line in the activation (parking, headlamp, etc.) lead, and that basically covers it.

14 should be fine if your going directly to the battery (I used 12 to do my HID's only cause I had it laying around), join them before the battery and get them wired up to an inline fuse before conncting the other end of the fuse to the battery.
10 Amp fuse should also be fine, it may pop right away though, in which case you'd have to use 15. if that pops, its hooked up wrong

i just have these OEM foglights as well and also wondered how to do this...i read the above posts but was wondering if i could use a generic switch to turn the lights on and off??is it worth doing all this for these foglights...and does anyone know how much a relay kit and a switch might cost for a setup like this? and finally has anyone ever wired these up without the wiring harness??If yes can they please tell us how long it took and if it was worth it? thanks a lot
I would pick that up, its just I want to use the OEM switch.

Look at http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org under accessories.
acura stopped sellin individual components of the OEM fog light kit. The only way to get just the harness is to pay $275 (lowest i found from barranco) for the entire fog light kit.
i actually found a post in an archived thread that showed what pins were needed. however i tried that and one of my fuses kept blowing. i gave up on that USDM switch... it'd be better off to buy the harness...otherwise, find a jdm switch or goto pepboys for a ghetto rocker switch
