Fug off newbie.
The quality has nothing to do with the leaking. Metal on metal will not seal like metal on rubber would.

Do they leak through the spherical bearing where the shock rod goes through or the metal base?
Just sucks for people with non-stripped interiors, might contribute to rust one day.

I agree.
My thoughts are............. I purchased my Buddy Clubs for the spring rates and the short stroke, handling capabilites in general. They also come with great coatings to protect against rust from moisture.
The only time that I notice the leak is pro-longed driving in very heavy rain. It is not like it pours in, just the upper mount has some moisture on it and sometimes the Spoon rear bar a tad wet also. I just wipe the dirty water marks off pay it no mind. We have Arrrrrrrrrr's........ Race Carsssss........
A very thin layer of Body Sealer may do the trick around the top of the uppers, meaning in the wheel well.......... I would not worry about it though.

And you think Zeal would come up with something to prevent this from happening. After all you are spending nearly 2000 dollars.
No need to get on the defensive side. Now where in my statement did I direct any kind of verbal threat you to. Hmm a little immature don't ya think?

I think what he was trying to say that this response was entirely unconstructive, and was not a commonly asked question.

Your later response along the lines of "well if you spent $2000 on this setup, it should seal against the shock towers better" would have been more constructive although off topic.

What POS are you running?
Its not a design flaw, I guess I should have gone to a shop that had installed (let alone seen) another set of Ohlins in a Teg. They may have known to put a dab of silicone to prevent leakage. But did the install myself and have only heard of about 15 other sets in the US
Oh well it took about 3 raindays to figure it out and 15 mins to fix.
Any one wanna sell me their leaky S6's?
