i have an stock acura radio.... i am not sure if it works.. i took the cover off the top and does any1 kno how to clean it?? also if i take that cover off there is 1 5 didgit number on the left..could that be the code ??
The 5 digit number is the code. I wouldn't recommend taking the cover off and cleaning it with any solvent of any kind. Prolly dust it off and that's good enough.
Random note: I got some family up in Ellicot City, MD. lol bump for a local guy.

wouldn't hurt to try. Plug it up and see. All you need is DC 12V.
If it doesnt work. Find someone you know at a car audio shop that has access to a headunit scanner or something of the like. It'll extract the code from it.

he said the 5 digit number is the code.
if you can see the lense, then i would get a cotton swab, dab it with some cleaning alcohol, and gently brush the lense in a circular motion... gently! i have not taken apart an acura cd player .. so i do not know if the lense is easily accessible. i've done cleanings on many aftermarket cd players though.
