Default clutch problems (clutch specialties)

my friend bought a clutch specialties clutch and well.....he said at 7k+ the clutch doesnt hold. at first i couldnt figure out wat teh problem was...but i think i do now. is it possible he didnt break in the clutch properly/long enough? he told me he was told my teh shop he got it installed by to break it in for 300 miles. since i sort of know this guy...im pretty sure they were highway miles...and after speaking with him, most of them are highway miles. is it possible...him unknowingly...after 300 mostly of highways miles.....ragged on his new clutch and this contributed to its death? does he need to buy a new one now? he also says his car sort of just sits there and spins when he starts it up, i fear its the famous jun starter problem. anyways...does anyone have this clutch...any problems with it?

Which stage clutch is it? My friend has the Stage 2 on his JRSC GSR, has had it for several thousand miles. Autoxs and drag races on it weekly. And it still grabs like it is brand new.
