H22A EG swap MAP TPS EGR please help!
Code 3 and 41 Got the 41 fixed o2 heater ground problem. While trouble shooting code 3, I plug the TPS into the EGR (mistaken it for MAP) Note to others: MAP sensor on H22A JDM is on firewall and was not included with the engine. The car ran fine with code 3 and 41 problem but when I plug TPS into EGR and started it. It ran like crap. Turned the car off swap the connectors back and now it will not start. Any clue? Help! I got gas not sure how to check to see if I got fire. Changed sparkplugs. No code since I disconn neg bat cable.
Tried starter fluid.
Took out the plugs and they are wet
Cranked up the engine with the spark plug out no spark (grounded the plug)
Could this be related to TPS being plugged into EGR? HELP!

This is weird. I've been reading some of the post on H22A Swap problems with not starting. I did not hook up the Knock sensor, O2, and MAP and my H started with no problem. I'm going back to hook up the Knock sensor to see if it helps.
P13 JDM
Update:
Getting 12V to the coil and ICM still no spark.
checked the ground side of TPS reads open
(fixed ran wire to D22) 5V on the VCC (still no spark)
MAP readings are ok 5V on VCC (No O scope to see signal)
Took apart distributor clean cap
Could it be that the ICM is bad even with proper voltages?

Problem Fixed: Bad Coil
Lesson learned: Plugging TPS into EGR or MAP has no effect on these sensors. My concern was that pin 1 of TPS is 5V (VCC) and pin 1 of MAP was GND. Thinking that I may have blew some circuits in the ECU but that is not the case. It was just a coincidence that while swapping the sensor the coil decided to die. the measurment was not far from specs. 12K -15K I measured 10K on the bad secondary coil.
Note: for those who are doing H22A swap P13 ECU Knock, O2, MAP, and EGR DO NOT have to be connected for the car to have spark and start. My ran ver well with those things not connected. I hope this helps others. Thanks again for having this forum.
