Default Help me figure out this noise

I'm sometimes getting a loud whine (for lack of a better word) when riding, it sounds like the beginning of a semi or bus putting on its air brakes (before the hiss). If I tap the brakes lightly, it goes away until I take my foot off, then it comes back, and then at some point, it just disappears (it isn'e constant). It just started happening last weekend, and it's somewhat random. I'm having trouble pinning it down, and wondering if anyone can identify with this, or has a suggestion.

I did have a new OEM exhaust put on about 2-3 months ago, I don't know if it could be that (if the wind goes under the car just right now and then and causes resonation between the heat shield and exhaust?) I'm just not sure and totally stumped.

is it coming from ur brakes? or elsewhere?

ur brakes can be warped or dirty check them out...also integras have tons of heat shields...lift ur car and use a rubber mallet hitting them til u hear a differnt sound...then just bend it...bending it will quiet it...also if its from the heat shield of the header that could be another problem...i had that problem rev to 3k it WHINEs then goes away...i bought a new header for that...
