I'm going to flush my coolant system one day soon in my Hybrid.
I was going to do this yesterday until the Honda dealership was out of stock with the coolant block washer (next to the headers / pass. side) and also told me the washer was $4.??. That's radiculos for a washer.
I'm wondering if I can use the torch here at the house and reheat the damn thing to reuse it.
I know it's only $4, but it's the fact it only cost probably .20 for them
Thanks for any info on reheating washers

just reuse it, and check it every month for leaks.
no problems with mine, reused it 3 times.

Find a new stealer. It's 2.30 list, and 1.73 discount.

Use the torch I do it at work all of the time at work. The heat will aneal it which makes it soft so it can be crushed again.

I'm not sure what washer you are looking at. But, it's #16 in the diagram below:
18342 016 1 BOLT, DRAIN PLUG (28MM) NO COLOR 9.22 6.90

Probably still going to reheat the washer.
