Default axel back exhaust

ok guys i have a question.
i had an apexi n-1 (cat back), but the canister got a hole in it now after 3 years of use. i bought an axel back muffler but its a 3inch piping i think. what would be advantage or disadvantage of it.
also my car is N/A.
thnx for the help guys.
the reason why i bought a pos bolt on is because iam going to be selling the car soon. should i just put the stock muffler or the new one i bought??

Shouldn't hurt performance, might lose a little torque, but nothing major, you're selling it soon anyway, may as well just throw it on. It'll probably be louder though

where is that link...

btw, it's not back pressure, it's exhaust speed velocity.
