Has Any one used this combo...b18c+p30+B16 head , whatcha think?
B18c block with JDM b16a pistons(p30) and a b16 head....just curious if any one has used this combo before. Seems like it would give you a nice compression... around 11.3
Does this make sense, seems like it would be a good combo for all motor daily driven.
I'm getting a new block to replace my b16.
i'm gonna do a B18c block with a b16 head(portflow done) has Toda b vavetrain and all the goodies.
i'm gonna balance the block with an exedy flywheel. JDM ITR pistons would give me an 11.1, and CTR would give me 12.1.....why not 11.3 with p30's. right in the middle. Should work right? any cons or pros to this setup.?

build those all the time. good combo, but i use that setup mainly for milder cams.
I usually go with CTR for Toda B/C cams.
Also, something to keep in mind, only JDM p30(92+ B16A) pistons have extra CR, USDM P30
are the same as PR3(USDM ALL B16A/JDM 90-91 Civic/CRX B16a/90-93 JDM Integra B16A)
