Default H&R Springs?

Will the H&R Race Springs work on the stock dampers? what are the pro's and con's of the race springs as opposed to the sport ones? I'd like to keep using my stock dampers for sure.

unless you like dragging your *** on everything, the OE ITR springs have a higher r/f spring weight ratio than most... not to metion that the rear rate is heavier that almost every other after market spring out there... I don't know the rates for the H&R's though...

Yo, stick w/ the #29502's for the ITR. They'll drop the car about an inch, and IMO improve over the stock springs. They have softer initial impact over bumps, but are plenty stiff when pushed hard.

cool thanks sinitron, will this give a leveled look? I've seen some R's with the back lower than the front. what's up with that?

I'll look for where I stashed the numbers, but the H&R sports have damn near the same spring rates as the OE ITR's. The ITR's have a heavier rear to front ratio though...

Found this chart for Integras at http://integra.vtec.net/handling/springs.html can't find my good one for ITR's

I just got the H&R sports in my R and am happy with them. I'v heard that eibrachs are better springs, but I say an R that had them and they drop more in the back, looks kinda wack. My fender gap was reduced to one finger in the front and about 1.5 fingers in the rear. (not the most scientific method of measure, I kno) The ride is about the same, with a little less body roll and more confidence in the corners from having a lower center of gravity. All and all I am very happy with these springs. If I (or mommy and daddy like some others) had more cash to spend I would of got mugen lowdowns. It's all up to you.

I have the Neuspeed Sports, that are just for the R, they ride great and drop the front about 1.25 and the rear 1.00.

H&R race 451 lb/in front, 350 lb/in rear

I run them.

If you can dig up the photos of my motor, you can see how they look...
