What is the diameter of the type S exhaust? I think I read on clubrsx that it was 2.25, compared to the DC2 which is 1.75...
I think I would pass on a new catback with that extra half inch and spend the money on hondata or a header if this is the case.

 

It's 2" piping from the catback... the header has a 2.25" collector.

 

What about the DC5r? anyone know?

 

it's actually pretty big stock (for a honda) 2" seems right, we just put an apex'i N1 on the gf's type s today & the piping was not tremendously larger than stock- the car sounds mean in vtec now, but it's really not that loud during normal acceleration.

edit- after 2 days w/it on the N1 is loud.
