i recently built a motor for my 89 hatch. its a d16z6 longblock with shoot peened rods d16a1 pistons nippon rings and clevite 77 bearings i am going obd1 here in a couple day's when my friend gives me his dizzy. and for now i have no vtec and am running a pr4 ecu (90-91 integra) ecu also i am running 94 octain (i know i should be running a race blend) its not running that bad but expect it to be a bit faster when i go obd1 i have no top end now without vtec but bottom end feels pretty good but its running a bit rich (due to the ecu.. i think)

does anyone have a similar setup??

how do you feel about your high compression sohc??

I have a friend running around with a Y7 bottom end, VX head, Y8 manifold, and it's a 97 4dr EK with a P28. It's turbo and running 9lbs and pull's pretty nice just an idea you know
