What are the causes of a blown headgasket? And some help about install
just like the title says, also how hard is it to replace one on a 93 SOHC? i have done struts cams axles tranny, so lemme know

A blown head gasket can come from many things. If it is higher mileage and is the original one then it probably blew from normal wear and tear. It is not much harder to do than a cam.
blue/white smoke coming out of your exhuast, or if you smell Coolant in your exhaust. Those are the main symptons that I've seen so far
It's really easy to reaplace, Since your replacing it I'd also get some new head bolts. Check your helms for more info on replacing the Head gasket and follow the instructions

whoa... really? i've never heard that before... oh well good thing i replaced my hoses n did the coolant flush yesterday haha...

Edit- there was no bubbles in the coolant or any white smoke, we had to have a mech. get some kind of chem. that turns red if there is co2 in the water. it did.
