they are a lot stronger then the stock ones. If I could keep my current shocks, i'd be happier, but unfortunatly, sometimes you have to make sacrifices

What is the benefit of swapping ITR LCAs into a lower Integra? More camber? Stronger?

I don't see why you couldn't get an aftermarket shock ( ) of equal quality that fits mortal Integra LCAs.

Yup...those look a lot beefier.

Have people had trouble with Integra LCAs breaking?

teg LCA's are strong enough... why would honda put something on the car that was too weak for driving.

most of the time, teg owners upgrade to ITR LCA's in order to run JDM coilovers which are made for the DC2... because they wont fit the USDM integra LCA's. and an added benefit is that the LCA's are beefier... i feel more secure strapping my car to a dyno... but it isnt *necessary*. i would not just upgrade to stock ITR shocks and LCAs - its not worth the trouble for such little gains.

Yes they are strong enough for stock, but they "could" flex with high rate springs.

I agree, but if you run high aftermarket spring rates or looking for less unsprung mass, then the ITR LCA is for you.

I think they are too short for a DC2. Although they have the same damper mounting design as the ITR, and therefore can share many of the same suspension setups.

So the ITR LCAs are stronger and lighter?

Now, I don't want to start any rumors and right now I don't have any factual information, but everyone I have talked to "says" they are lighter.

its funny, i thought of another reason to go with the ITR LCA's . If your stock ones have seized bushings, and you were trying to upgrade to better suspension. I priced it out, and around here, it is cheaper to buy ITR LCA's then it is to have the bushings replaced in the stock LCA's. Pretty sad. Also, if you were in the market for new struts in the first place, its not hard to get itr rear struts instead of regular integra ones.

this is true, too bad i had already purchased the dampers before i realized the bushings/bolts were seized.

the itr rear lca is cheaper than gsr lca

I recommend you get them from Len on this board if you want them or find them used.

Installed ITR LCA's a week ago on my GS-R...very simple process. However, you will have to zip-tie your ABS lines, mine did not bolt up as they did w/the GS-R LCA. Nothing majorly hard to do obviously, but I didn't like the way they fit when forcing them to bolt up (bent line too much).

I went from neuspeed/tokico suspension to stock itr...spring rates are nearly identical, but I don't have that crazy drop anymore, which sucked on city roads. It was cheaper to buy this setup than to buy some comparable aftermarket shocks for the ITR springs.

I'm very happy w/the setup.
