Is my IAC valve fuxored.
I just put my engine together 2 days ago. Complete bottom end rebuild on Z6 with a Y8 IM. Car runs great except the idle sux. I have to unplug the IAC in order for it to idle at normal RPMs.
If the car is idling warmed up & everything I can get it to idle @ about 600-800 rpm. Without the IAC valve plugged in. As soon as I plug it in It kills the engine. \
This really sux cuz the motor feels really strong & I have no other real problems. I hate it when you stop at a light & all you hear is your engine surging.

damn this is pissing me off. I'm getting an oxygen sensor code & a trans code cuz I'm using an auto ECU.

Your iavc is fucked. if you pull the harness when the car is on, it is supposed to stall. if you plug it in and it stalls, it is bad. try what the othe guy said, clean it out and reset the ecu.
