Anyone know if someone makes a aftermarket crank pulley for a zc motor, mine has a 22mm crank. Would like to be able to set timing with it also. I was told that A-E-M does not.

 

IMO don't replace the pulley unless you find one with a harmonic balancer built into it. It is VERY hard on the crank to run a solid pulley.

I don't think that it has a harmonic balancer in it, Plus it is bent. It looks to be sold metal with holes drilled in it. It's not as heavy as the sohc motor pulley but it is still heavy. Thanks for the reply earl.

 

As far as I know, the civic one will fit, but the timing mark will be 2 degrees off. You can just mark the AEM by using the stock one. Personally I'd say avoid the pulleys. I've heard of about 10 people who used them and experience bearing problems directly afterward (2 - 3 months). Also, they really don't do much at all as far as power. A local shop tested them many times showing 0 hp gains basically each time. Save your $$$ IMHO.

 

Thanks for the reply civiczc. I know that the civic pulley will not fit because it is for a 24mm crank and the zc has a 22mm one. Talking about bearing problems for the aftermarket pulleys makes me think that a should just find a stock one not bent and try to find more power another way, any ideas?
