A tiny question to those with JUN knowledge (ECU)
IM about to purchase a used reprogramed ECU, JUN did the honors and it's about a year old, give or take.
The ECU I am told supposed to work really well with my stage3 cams that are jus killing me in the long run.
How much am I lookin to spend?
Kinda hard when JUN's no longer around and I do not know how much they charge.
Given he's a local guy with legit purposes and not there to jipp me, im also buying a vafc and obd1 harness, I got the prices for the vafc and obd1 harness but Im stumpped ont he ECU, thanks guys!

im running a p28 ecu with the jun program on it and i have a type r motor without the stage 3 cams and it runs great i am really happy with it
Cool good to know.
I get my CEL light on every 2mins man, my freakin sensors cant comply with my JDM header, no biggie the obd1 should eliminate that sensor.
Anways
The question here was what should I be lookin to pay this guy?
Thanks

well i paid 200 for the ecu plus 25 shipping but i have seen them go fro as low as 150 so it all depends they are well worth the money, unless you are going to go HONDATA later then it is kind of a waste of money then but im not giong hondata anytime soon so it is good for me
well the actual chip is only like 15 bux on ebay, but u can not just pop in the chp in the p28, p30, or p72 ecu, u have to open the ecu up and solder in a new socket for the chip to plug into then after then u have to enable the jumper on the board that looks for the new chip. so thjats why they are expensive 200 bux includes the cost of the stock ecu plus the chip plus the labor so if u have a stock ecu then u can buy the chip for 15 bux off ebay and chip it yourself but i strongly urge u not to u caqn really damage the ecu bad if u dont know what u are doing. especially when u are soldering in the new socket on the board if u solder too hard or much u can burn right through the board. good luck
