Default SRS Light ON

I removed my steering wheel of my type s to get a correct angle to drill a whole for a start button and when I re-installed the steering wheel my SRS light came on. I know on my 00 SI I can reset the ecu by unplugging the terminals from the battery but it doesn't seem to work for the Type s. Does any know how to clear the ecu from the type s or I do I have to take it to the dealer to reset the ecu.
