I have an OBD 1 P28 ecu (controls VTEC) from hondata for sale: First $200 takes it. It has the rom socket installed and the connector for the Hondata link box. Will work with stage 2, 3, 4, and the new S200 stuff. It will also work with aftermarket roms (like the ones on ebay) if you prefer to go that route. Just plug the new rom into the socket and you're good to go. Here are a few pics:

 

Which hondata was the ECU socketed for ? (the old stage 2,3,4 series or the S200 series)

 

It will work with either. The socket is the same, as is the connector. I've been using it with a stage 4, but I can test it with a friend's S200 if you are worried about it not working. I bet you could also send it back to Hondata if there is some kind of problem.

Yes. It was socketed by Hondata, for hondata, but it should also run any compatible rom, like the ones on Ebay all the time...

It doesn't come with a rom. You can use a hondata rom, or one from Ebay, etc...
