If ecu is chipped/socketed for hondata s200 is it the same as if u chip/socket for crome
I have a p28 that was originally chipped for s200. I sold the hondata unit, and i was wondering if i just plug in a chip (that was burned for crome) would it fire all up with no problems and work?

sorry for bringing this back from the dead, but does this mean if you have already have a chipped ecu, you can just plug the hondata unit into it ?

Maybe. If your chipped ECU has a 4-pin datalogging plug soldered in... then yes it will work for the older chip style Hondata systems. These include the s100, s200 and Stage systems. Chip socketing will NOT work for the current production Hondata s300 system.
