how to reset ECU?
I have searched before and come up with multiple answers on how to reset your ECU. I was just wondering which was correct?
My problem is my PR3 is throwing 21 (VTEC solenoid Valve). What I dont understand is if the solenoid valve was malfunctioning or disconnected wouldnt my VTEC not kick in? It however does.
I tried to pull my Hazard light fuse for a minute then replace it. The code stopped flashing until the second I tried to crank over my car.
Can someone help me?

you can also take your negative and positive cables off the battery and hold them together for a couple of minutes. I never really liked that way, but it works.
Under the hood there is a fuse box and pull the ECU fuse. Leave it out for 5 min, this should reset it. If this does not work then pull the neg. cable off the batt. and wait 5-15min. If this does not work try unpluging the ecu for 5-15 min. If this does not work then your ecu is not the problem and you will have to find out what is causing the code.

If your CEL is going away then it is resetting but you still have the problem, just resetting the ECU isn't going to fix the problem with your Oil Pressure Sensor.
I understand that resetting the ECU isnt going to fix the problem, but as soon as the accesories turned on the code started flashing again I didnt even get to crank it. so I am guessing that it didnt reset.
BTW my VTEC is controlled by an MSD rpm activated switch, would this have anything to do with it?

code 21 means that your ecu is not detecting a signal from your vtec solenoid,
earlier you said that your vtec kicked in, well the reason that is happening is you are using and msd switch,
why are you using and msd when you have a pr3 ecu why not just run the wire into the ecu and not use the msd switch?
