Too easy, letting that one go

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by dawhiteboy &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">because he has a curious mind?</TD></TR></TABLE>

the 4-1 vs. 4-2-1 header is about as useful of a debate of peak hp and boost pressure vs. HP rating.

header design, theory and testing have been discussed so many fuggin times here already, we really don't need another thread about it.

I use a JDM DC 4-1 because I got it brand new for $210. Another R owner order one and they accidently sent him two so he gave me the hook up.

&lt; loves his $210 header so far.

Is this the same guy asking which intake to go with? And whatever other question? I hate to say this, cuase I hate how everyone drowns it out, but i think the search buttons are working(even the archive). If your looking for info on a certain product, that will help you the most.

People arent going to keep giving you info thats already here.

You'll find and get more answers using the search fun K tion then you will posting and asking quetions that have been answered a billion times all ready. Search for the great header test or whatever the post was called. That should have all the answers your looking for right there.

4-2-1 cause almost every 4-1 header has bad clearance.

That is only if someone cares about clearance. And actually, your statement is very false.

Tell me, which 4-1 header other than the 4-1 JDM DC has 'bad' clearance? OEM JDM 4-1 is perfect.

and have you seen a SMSP 4-2-1 header? They have as bad if not WORSE clearance than the DC.

Also, the Spoon (4-2-1, right?) hangs slightly lower than the oil pan, i repeat: SLIGHTLY. So there goes your over-generalization.

4-1...only reason I went with that is because of the so-called "rule" that 4-1 makes better top end power. And unfortunately I dont have enough money to test different headers and disprove that "rule", so Im sticking to it.

this is why i said most. On a car thats lowered around 2 inches MOST 4-1's hang lower then 4-2-1's this is why i didnt say all.

DC 4-1
DC JDM 4-1
OEM JDM 4-1
Mugen 4-1
Spoon 4-1
T1 4-1

they all hang lower then the oil pan.

Hytech's 4-1 doesn't hang lower then the oil because of its design.

for a stock height car car clearance isnt as much of an issue.

LOL, I swear, I see more RJ posts in the Type-R forum commenting on dumb threads, more than I see useful posts that are not in some way bashing or OT to begin with. Umm, like this one. Haha, I guess I don't see why everyone makes such a fuss. I never understood why people can't just ignore stupid threads (like this one) and stupid posts (like this one) if you don't want to read them and/or think they are dumb. It's not like you *have* to read every single thread in order to get to the next one. And I don't want to hear about wasted bandwidth either, oh no, 3K of text for a stupid thread, oh no!

Ben, who'll just ignore the fact the he is complaining about something that he is doing right now
