I have the same exhaust but no flat black and I love it. It's quiet enough to keep you from getting unwanted attention and loud enough that you can hear the little dragon under your hood snarl when he's breathing fire.

That exhaust sounds fantastic when you hit vtec (if you have a vtec motor). I have the ITR valvetrain and at 5200 rpms the pitch of my engine changes drastically.

I have the same exhaust too. I've been toying with the idea of changing the tip (basically just for something new on the car) By any chance did either of you get the paper that states greddy is 50 state legal? Just curious.

My butt dyno didn't sense ****, it's very very un-sensative. I paid $440 for mine.

while i am a fan of greddy exhaust systems, the greddy sp exhaust for the crx dissapointed me. i'm not sure how the mx sounds but i hope it sounds a lot better.

i like the sound of the sp for 99+honda civic coupe. it has a really really deep bassy sound but still quiet, far from ricey.. this is the sound i'm trying to get. i'm sure the difference in sound is due to the difference in piping/bends/and the bigger muffler that greddy put on the crx. vs the one on the civic.

i had an apexi n1, glad i sold that thing... maybe the n1 would sound good if you have a b16 or + but i sold it to my friend and it sounds horrible on his rex. id rather drive stock anyday

ps. i like how u painted it black looks good

They make a greddy sp for the hatches, it has 50mm piping, and it sounds nice too. I had it on my 91 hatch.

I paid $472.00 shipped for it from AIEonline.
And like stated above, I didnt get any paperwork either stating it was 50 state legal.

I have an 89 CRX with a B20, and my car is very loud. I'm looking for a quiet cat back exhaust, and I can't find anything. The only quiet exhaust I know of is an Apexi World Sport, and they don't make it for the CRX. Any suggestions?

Which one are you talking about? Greddy MX, SP? I'm not sure which is supposed to be the quieter one. And earlier in the post some of you talk about switching the tips......is that easy to do? Thanks

as far as i can tell, the greddy mx, apex'i ws, and dc ______ are all pretty much the same in fit, finish & sound. i have the ws currently, but i am about to get a custom axle back portion made w/ an N1 style (ebay) muffler to see how i like it.

I Must buy MX NOW That is a great idea to paint it hi temp flat black, keeps the mo fo po po off your tail. I was thinking about getting the MX after my swap, because the thermal sounds like bees in mr crx. Do you have a test pipe? And were did you buy your MX from?

from I understand it's 60MM which is just about 2 3/8", it's good with it being flat black and all, you have any sound clips
