i need help really bad im so confused help quick im losing my mind
ok guys i need you guys to come through once again.ok heres my car im working with.
1991 honda civic hb std,1989 d16a6 and tranny axles hubs and knuckles full harness from 1989 honda crx hf front to back all the wires,89 hf ecu.
ok the wed night at my school ( going to learn auto mechanics)we where testing voltages on my car and at idle the alt was charging then when you hit the gas the alt stopped charging so i know i need an alt but the car idled fine,all was fine thurday morning and when i was leaving the engine raced to 2000 rpms checked all my vacuum lines all are good i tightened the idle screw now the engine idles between 1500 and 2000 rpms and when im driving it bogs bad at like 3000 rpms.is it my alt completely shitting on me or something else?

i dont think the alternator can make your engines rpms vary... id check every thing on the intake manifold.
injectors (check the fuel injection system and injectors = 16) and exhaust gas bla bla (check the hoses and EGR valve lift sensor and system EGR valve) thats out f the 92-95 book i think its the same
