Default Spoon calipers... changing brake pads questions

just wondering for those of you that have spoon calipers, when changing the brake pads, how did you push the pistons back into the caliper? just squeeze them back in with pliers? is there a certain method? any tips.

TIA

Threaded C-clamps work on most disc brakes

My brother's RX-7 has 4 piston caliper and I remember seeing him pushing the piston back with hand.
However, he also told me that there's a tool which design to push out both piston (on each side) equally. Go to auto part store and ask them do they have that.
