Engine info....lil help?
I got a 90 civic EX and want to change the motor. My engine that is in now is the stock D16. Its ok but its just not powerful enough. The other reason that i want to swap out the engine is because it is burning oil....and i mean a lot of it. Instead of pouring money in to this engine, i thought it would be best to just buy another motor and swap it in. Anyone know what kind of motor would be a good match for my cars chasis as far as power to weight? i know the H22 i powerful but its to heavy. Anyone have any idea what i should do?
It all depends what you want to spend and what you prefer. You could come out with a turboed D-series for the same price as a relativly stock B motor. B motors weigh more which should also be taken into consideration depending on what you use the car for.
