I just got 18x7s with a 215/40 tire put on my '00 Civic, and I have coilovers installed as well... just wondering what a good drop distance would be for my car without having to worry about shaving any wheel wells or anything. Thanks.

 

With that width and size I wouldn't guess much more than an inch, if that.

 

1-1.5"

 

Good... 1"-1.5" is perfect I think. I'm really happy with the wheels, just thought my car was too jacked up. I definately need to drop it again... Hopefully camber won't be too bad. I'm not too worried about it. I'll see after it goes down.

 

i dont know about the 18's.. wish i could help.. i was going to post up a pic of my booger green cx hatch with a 2'1/4 drop with goldline springs.. looks nice.. i like it a lot more now!!! no more monster truckn for my eg!
