yep just like the title says. just got the energy suspension whole master kit and trailing arm bushings and mount inserts. gonna try to start at 8 am tomorrow morning. wish me luck. what to expect?? i wanna slap all of it on to see how much difference it is. i know its gonna be hard ill take some pics.. k cya

expect a lot of cursing.

The more research I do about the trailing arm bushing, the less I like them. The car's just not going to handle right without some compliance there. Most people suggest sticking with the stock piece.

what do u mean without some compliance there?? cuz the guy i bought it from sold it to me with the master kit so might as well install them.. lol.. but yeah can u explain what some compliance there means?? lol

In a nutshell, the bushing is nothing more than the axis of the trailing arm. By limiting it's movement, you bascially change the geometry of the suspension in a negative way. If you read down a bit in that thread, someone says, "I wondered why my car was totally unpredictable".

its all in. runs pretty good good imo. it bounces more though. but i like it. got the energy suspension mount inserts too. and its not even bad. (the vibration isnt bad) all in all my car runs better.. one thing though i havent put in the trailing arms yet. its too hard. lol. but i need some new ones my trailin arm bushings are gone.

any easy way i can take out the trailling arm bushing?? ill post pics if u guys want lol..

egturbo, how did you replace the upper control arm bushings? the ones by the anchor? the manual tells me to place it in a vise and "drive" it out. the damn thing won't budge. any advice?

yeah. u have to use a press. heres are pics. use a press with the right size bolt to push it out.

my friend AL pressin out the bushing..




the sec pic sucked but hope this helps. good luck with ur install. if u need anything else let me know. bye.

I installed my master kit too myself. It was alot of work, but i personally think it was well worth it and was happy w/ the results.

hey prelude vtec.. did u install the trailing arm bushings?? cuz i havent yet. i heard story's bout them. if u did can u tell me if its a good idea to install them or not?? plus what did u use to take it out?? thanks in advance bye.
