If your going to get any Viper Series ALARMS, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE. Get all the extras, get the hood pin, get the motion sensor, get the glass sensor, add a pager add on. It's all worth it in, the end if you can stop someone from stealing your car, and put them behind bars. Go for it

New miniature 4-button remotes
Cool super-bright Blue Status LED
Smaller module with Viper badge
Parking Light Flash
3 Receiver Channels
5 Zones
XHF

Thats A Mid to Low End Alarm BTW.

actually you really don't need all that ... if someone wants your car or the **** in it enough they are going to get it one way or another ... flashing lights and a siren are not going to stop them ... and with the pager ... if it goes off are u really going to go running to your car, and if you do what exactly are you going to do ... they have **** they used to break into your car which can be used as weapons ... so my suggestions is not to ADVERTISE the type of alarm you have in there, make sure you have detached the face of your radio (if you have one). I do agree with the hood and trunk pins, but make sure they use mercury tilt switches ... and make sure you fill out the warranty once you get the alarm installed by an AUTHORIZED dealer or it will void they warranty. I have been an first class MECP certified installer for 7 years now, i can bypass 95% of alarms out there in under 30 seconds ... once u know the way they work. Most thiefs see the red flashing light and look for an easier target ... but like i said if they REALLY want it they will get it ... look at it this way ... you insurance will cover anything u add to your car as long you it is MOUNTED to the car itself ... just be glad the car is still there ... it is cheaper to replace dash panels and radio's than the entire ... and that is my 2 cents ...
