Default Invidia for the Teg

I am really torn apart about getting this exhaust. I want a quiet, good looking exhaust. Is this an angled exhaust. By angled, I mean does it point to the passenger side of the car? I would rather not pick one of those up even if it flows better.

I can get it for $450 shipped.

What do you think?

If you want quiet, Invidia is not for you. Free flowing probably. Quiet definitely not.
$450 isn't that bad of a price though.

get it, I love mine! I got mine for $480 shipped so yeah, jump on this deal. The exhaust sounds awesome, no buzzyness. Just deep and throaty. It doesn't come out at and angle, its an over-axle design. Here is a pic of it on my car:

Hope this helps!

-Andrew

BTW: This is not a quiet exhaust. I think its louder than an Apex-i N1. The Spoon N1 could be louder though.

According to your pic, it is angled (I downloaded your pic and increased the brightness). Did yours come with a silencer? Do all of them?

Yes, it came with a silencer. With the silencer in, it sounds about as loud as the Apexi WS, but you can feel a loss of power. It's a very VERY small angle. I'm comparing to the Apexi N1 under axle design. It is basically straight out.

Thanks guys, but now I'm even more confused I would LOVE to have the original RS*R exhaust, PERFECT. Do you know of any RS*R Dealers now? I know they have a new line for the U.S. coming out...

Ok, I think I have narrowed it down to the Greddy SP, Apexi WS and Inivida. Is the DC Sports exhaust loud? If it is, does it come with a silencer? Any reccomendations???

Thanks again for all your suggestions.

I have the DC Sports exhaust and it is a lot quieter than the Invidia, but it can be loud at high RPM's. I love it, although I don't know if it has a silencer b/c my car already had it when I bought it.

That's an odd list. You have a bumper engineered for quiet (chambered design; Apexi WS), you have a exhaust engineered for loud performance (straight through known for loud; Invidia) and I don't know anything about the GReddy. I think you need to evaluate what you want in an exhaust, then pick by looks.

I have Comptech. Its straight-through and quiet and high quality.

well if we're all jus gonna throw out exhaust suggestions then i'll say i love my greddy evo.

But to be more inline with the original posters question... i think the invidia will be kinda on the loud side and in my opinion looks damn good. And if you plan on runnin it with the silencer.. i say you get a different exhaust... its counterproductive to do that ya kno?

I want a quiet exhaust, plain and simple. I also want one that has *prefferably* an angled, rolled tip (Greddy SP, old RS*R)...

So I guess Invidia has been scratched off my list...

Thanks!

Cool! Thanks guys for the 411. I will decide between the Comptech and DC. Where would I find the BEST price? I want to order soon and live in Chicago.

Thanks again all for all your great advice.

Windy, get the Comptech. I have it, I also sell Comptech products, and my friend is a Comptech dealer. So I'll get you a good price one way or another - IM me if you're serious.

Tanabe Hyper Medallion isn't a bad choice if you're looking for a quite exhuast that isn't chambered like the Apexi WS. Just my .02

This has actually confused me for awhile now. Everyone says the Hyper Medallion isn't chambered, but on team-integra, it says that it is chambered. Anyone positive on this?

I have heard the Comptech has kind of a droning sound to it while cruising on the highway...If this is so, does the Greddy SP do that as well?

Can anyone confirm?
