Default 3d Model of Integra TypeR (3D Studio Max/Does anybody have?)

I am working on an animation right now and I thought it would be cool to have a Type-R in the film. Thanks.... let me know.

Well.. I can make it up in autocad if anybody has the blueprints/schematics?!?

I can make a wireframe of the car and add/remove mods and create my own "body kits" etc.....

See what the car looks like with any wheels, any level of drop ect....
You can imagine the possibilities. And I would not mind doing some examples for people once I find the baseline wireframe/mesh of the car.

I have 3d studio VIZ..which is fairly similar.

I also have

AutoCAD 2000i
Inventor 5.3
Solidworks
Solidedge

...Do you have the model of the R already?? or you are trying to get someone to model it?

If you do, just save it as an IGES/ACIS file then I can put it in VIZ

Well no I dont yet have a model. I wanted to get a model if anybody had one. I have found a JDM ITR mesh but the problem is that he wants >$120 for it.

I would not mind if it was wireframe or anything. Just some sort of model.

Do we have a bunch of architets on here???

Didn't know so many people used Autocad that weren't in the building design profession .......

We have 2002 sitting in the office, but we aren;t installing it, waiting to get our 2004 version.

But I only use Autocad for what it is designed for ......... doing architecture!

thats too bad... you can be having a lot of fun with it I made made 3dmodels of other cars (m3) and ferraris and stuff already. You can take the cars completely apart and modify them however you want. Really fun stuff.

Im still in school for Mechanical Design...

I had to create that space I posted above for a tech. ill. class. The teacher wouldn't allow us to do anything but architecture...He hated the cars in my space...

AutoCAD is very very outdated IMO. It's still very useful for simple things however. If you are an architect you should look into CheifArchitect or RevIT. Those programs are a shitload easier to use and 4x as fast.

My favorite program is Inventor. Here is an example of some work I've done in it.. the renderings aren't the greatest..But the learning curve is slim to none.

This post is a lil OT

EDIT: sorry the pic is fuggin huge..

I've been meaning to do my 4dr Teg for a while. However, we just started using Maya, which I really enjoy. In 3DSMAX it's pretty complicated... Even though that was the first 3D software that I learned. If anyone can get me front, side and rear shots (must be level though) I can try. I'm swamped with school work now, but hopefully in the future. I'm actually supposed to model Brewerhatch's car in Max but I'm too lazy
