Rebuilding a S1 tranny

I've heard some people mention that the synchros from a LS tranny can be used to replace the synchros in the S1, this true?

I am fairly certain that they will bolt over, but why would you want those long gears? Except for maby the 5th? There are other places to get replacement gears for the jdm S1. Run a search, there was a group buy or something a while back. Ryan

i would highly doubt that they would bolt in. because why would everyone be buying them from that JDM guy from japan if we could just use LS ones instead? i forget his username but he'll be in japan soon if he isnt already, and he has the hookup with S1 synchro kits. do a search for the thread, it was in this forum and several pages long.
