Default n00b over size pistons question

Might be kind of a n00b question, but here it goes...

so I'm buying oversize pistons. stock bore is 87mm right? So lets say I want an 89mm piston, which is think is reasonable for my application...

Well, how do I order these? The shop that is ordering them for me was like 'so you want them 20 over?' (0.020") Now, thats no where near 89mm, but they are acting like its a big size... now I'm afraid of ordering a piston and not knowing exactly what to tell my machine shop when they bore out the sleeves.

Can anyone straighten me out?

If it's a good machine shop, they'll already know what you mean when you tell them .20 over.
