ok...just out of curiousity, like the topic states, whats that circle cutout for on the rear bumper of the s2000 underneath the driverside taillamp? A guy i work with who thinks he knows alot about everything, sd it was an alternative exhaust port.... Please tell me he's wrong...cuz i laughed in his face! thx

it's for a tow hook

 

 

i heard once it was for the european market cars. someone said it was for a lense and some sort of EPass thing for toll roads. dunno if thats true or not.

 

No, it's a tow hook in USA on front and rear. Now european models do have a lower 3rd brake light mounted into the black rear valance by exhaust.

 

I heard King motorsports..sells a mugen cap that goes into that bumper hole..does anyone have it?

actually, i did see that cap. i never saw it on the king site, but it's a silver mugen badge that sits a bit recessed in the hole. now that i think about it, i wondered how they did that... forgot about that cap. i saw it in an option2 magazine that was featuring a silver mugen s2000.

It's a center cap from a mugen wheel. Jdm rice yo.

 

buhahaha...i guess i never thought of that..i guess i could put my steering wheel hub there..... jdm rice... priceless....but i'm sure because it's mugen, it's cool

Yeah, I read an article on some guys S2k that had a bunch of Mugen stuff on it, and he used the cap from an RNR to fill that hole.
