Whats next for my LS?
Here is what I have on my car now:
<ul>[*]AEM cold air intake, w/ by-pass valve[*]DC Sports CC 4-2-1 header[*]Type-R Exhaust[*]Type-R Swaybar w/ BSQ mounting kit[*]Dunlop SP5000 tires[/list]So, what do you guys think I should do next? Or should I not even do anything, and just save the money (turbo in future???
) If I do get something else, I was thinking about more power. I dont think I want springs and shocks...I dont auto-x and the swaybar is good enough for me. Cam gears, fpr and dyno tuning maybe??? Or not worth it?
Basically what I'm asking is: Is there anything major I'm missing, or just call it quits and save up for something more worth it?
Thanks,
Matt

Lightened flywheel and LSD? Fuel Pressure Regulator and a dyno session is a must if you plan on getting every ounce of performance from your parts. Your next big step will be to either go Force induction, NA with a VTEC head, or just plain ol'NOS...excuse me for the understatement...

I say skip the lightened flywheel, unless you get turbo, otherwise if you get a new clutch just have your stock one shaved a couple pounds. I have one and if I could do it all over again I'd probably keep my stock one.
I say go turbo or get Crower 62403 cams with higher compression pistons and valvetrain.

I used a Type R flywheel/clutch kit on my LS and it bolted up perfectly and works great. It's about 5lbs lighter than the stock flywheel and the change is noticeable. You may want to consider a S-AFC w/ tuning. I had one installed/tuned and gained ~10ft-lbs of torque between 5K-6K rpm and +5 everywhere else.

I totally recommend the JUN or the Toda Ultra light flywheel. I have an UL on my B18C5 and Slopoke has one on his B18B and on slopokes the difference is night and day. The B18B has heavier internals and the Flywheel let's that motor rev like a son o bitch.
It's a 1995 LS with
Type R clutch and flywheel
AEM cold air intake + bypass valve
DC Sports 4-2-1 ceramic headers
Greddy Sp cat-back
Apex S-AFC
NGK wires
Neuspeed: front upper, rear upper and lower
19mm sway bar
Energy suspension busing kit.
coilovers pending budget
Axis 16" Touring cup rims
Brembo front OEM spec rotors and Porterfield R4S pads
After dyno tuning I'm gettim 125 hp at the wheels and 111 ft-lbs
Before: 119 hp and 106.8 torque.
The car is being setup for the SCCA autocrossing in the STS class.
After the dyno I noticed that my headers were cracked and the plugs were shot. Haven't had it on the dyno since I replaced the headers, plugs and cleaned the injectors. The numbers should be higher now.
Hope that helps.

adjustible cam gears and a FPR with dyno tuning...........will make a noticable diffrence..........even a bored T/B will help in power and throttle response.....
Go buy some light *** 15's or 16's.... You will notice the diff much more than getting a lightened fly wheel ! accelration and braking will improve (especially if you are curently running 17's) Damn, this comment alone may start up a whole new sub topic....
How do you figure a light weight wheel is gonna make a bigger differance than a Flywheel? I have a JUN UL and Racing Hart CP-F evolution's on my Integra and I felt a bigger differance with the Flywheel but hey to each his own.
Pound for pound, lighter wheels will give you a more noticeable 'power' increase as they improve acceleration and do not affect deceleration as would a light weight flywheel. Not to mention the improved performance in braking characteristics.... a lightweight flywheel would not give you this. IMO, wheels would be a better step than a fly....

Dont get a flywheel? Stick with an LS tranny?
Your just full of crappy advice!
I put a JUN Ultra Light weight flywheel on my B18B(One of the best things Ive done for my car). I also replaced my stock steel 14s(18lbs) with HX wheels(11.75lbs) The 9 lbs I dropped off my flywheel made a bigger difference than the 24 lbs I dropped off my wheels.
I also replaced my LS tranny with a GSR tranny. I noticed better acceleration through all the gears. The only reason you should keep your LS tranny is if you are planning on turbo charging in the future.

whatever when i got a gsr the first thing i noticed was how tall the ls gears had been if you plan to get cams and higher rev limit a tranny with shorter gears will keep you closer in the power band
