How Does a SAFC work
Peopl have always told me to get one for my 95 ls, but i've have read about them and it mainly says that it changes the fuel curves. Will an safc be worth buying to imrpove my cars performance.

DC 4-2-1 header
AEM CAI intake
AEM tru underdrive pulleys

you usually dont want an safc unless you get cams and cam gears things to where you would need to get int dyno tuned and have all that stuff changed and i beleive you can change the rev limit like 500 more from stock and yes air to fuel also that is why it is named an S-AFC(super-air/fuel controler)
In my oppinion if you want to "dyno tune" your car and want a nice running power curve then you should get one. It help you bring all your mods and tune them properlly. Some mods like intakes and exhaust can change you air/fuel ratio and make you run too rich or too lean. If you are serious about tunning you car then you sould get one. Hope this helps you make a decision of your own. 98ctr

Not that it matters too much....but isn't it called a Super Aif/flow Converter ?
I thought it was called that because it modifies the signal that passes through the MAP sensor and such. Anywho...I don't think you can change the rev-limiter. I've had one in my Teggy and I certainly haven't come across that function on it yet!
But, back on topic....if you see yourself modifying your car a bit more in detail in the future...I couldn't hurt to get one. But right now it's probably not necessary and won't yeild you great gains.
