Default I'm a nOOb, Pics or my car and Questions

Considering the complications of obd 1 and 2. which motor would be best to put in a crx. A b18b or b18a and would a y1 transmission fit on it?

I have a b18a in my 90 crx and i love it. Honestly i dont think that you will be able to tell that much difference between the a and b. Really the only difference is the cams which give the b 5 more hp. But the b's valve cover is the tallest of any b series so youd have to cut some on the hood. Mine fits perfectly with HASport mounts. My b18a is obd1 and wiring was a BITCH...thats why i let my friend do it. I was going from dpfi-mpfi and obd0-obd1 so it was alot of ****. Either way....youll be happy that you didnt go with the almighty b16...j/k. It is a really fun engine...all that torque in these light cars is an awesome feeling. Good luck with whatever you choose and you can IM me if you need any help or anything. Thanks.

PS-why dont you get an obd0 motor from a 90-91 teg...since youre worried about obd1.

why dont you get a b18b and just run the b18a exhaust manifold and change up the wiring for everything else.
