How is the MC reservoir attached to the MC?
So the reservoir is clamped onto the MC, and once the clamp is removed it will slide off? What does the opening in the MC look like?
I'm not trying to replace my MC or anything, I'm wondering what it would take to put a reservoir tank from another vehicle on the MC.
(You guys probably think I'm an idiot...

If you're talking about an ITR MC, then there's no clamp. One screw holds the tab of the resevoir to the MC. Once you take the screw out, the resevoir just pulls off.

Yes, this one's broken...

Thanks for the pic. That helps a lot. I was hoping that the inside of the holes on the top of the MC were threaded, but it doesn't seem that way. I'll have to rethink my plans.

Could you not just have bought a Tilton (or other aftermarket) unit? Not sure about fitment issues though.
