Default butterflies on a b18c1

ive had my b18c1 for about a year now maybe, before i even put the motor in the car i installed skunk2 manifold. im running a stock 95 gsr ecu my question is since the ecu is looking to open the butterflies would this set a code but not bring up the
CEL and would this affect performance in anyway

i can tell u this get rid of that p72 with that ecu and your new skunk manifold u are losing hp and performance. i was using a p72 with my type r motor with teh single runner manifold and vtec kicked in at like 4400 u could hear it kick in but u didnt feel it pull till like 5800 rpms then it pulled hard. so getyour self a chipped p28 ecu its better i beleive in my book i have tried the skunk program and the mugen program at least 2 different versions of each and i have to say this jun program i have is the bomb it rawks all around.

if you are throwing a cel and no codes come up, the ecu is bad. You should probably go with a p28 and chip it otherwise your secondary runners won't work with the p72..

and don't listen to kalokohan he doesn't know anything

FYI: a chipped p72 and p28 is the same(if they have the same chip). the ecu will run the settings off of the chip.

So don't believe someone if they say 'my chipped p28 is better than a chipped p72'.

Yeah, unless their chipped p72 still has the programming for the butterflies and they're still running the dual stage manifold. I had a P72 XSE chip for awhile like that.
