Default quick VAFC question...

i have tried their website and didnt find EXACTLY waht i needed. i have a 5th gen lude and what is my intake pressure suppose to be at when idle with a CAI. also, when it is tuned, does +COR mean leaning it out or richening it? and i just have a CAI, what should my "COR" be at for the h22a4 OBDll? like give me some of your setting if you have a 5th gen lude wtih just an intkae or so. thanks

quick ques-- LONG answer
the vacuum can be anywhere between 25-40 hg or whatever the hell it is. +cor means richer.
as for tuning it, just try doing different things BUT avoid excessive leaning. Adjust the vtec point higher than usual, and tune the "non vtec " side first. Then adjust vtec lower than usual and tune the high side. Move in 3-4% at a time and I wouldnt recommend + or -- more than maybe 15-18%.
However, with the lack of mods to your car eg. header/exhaust, cams, headwork, adj. cam gears, you probably wont be able to tell a difference w/ the vafc or w/o

dyno time, a wideband O2 sensor machine and a standalone fuel/ignition computer is the right way to tune. vafc, safc, e-manage, fields, all trick the ecu into thinking the engine is under more load than it really is giving it more fuel.
