Need Reset Directions for Chk Engine Light for 2000 Accord
My wife got gas at a full service filling station/garage (no kidding) and they left the gas cap loose. How do I reset the Chk Engine light on our 2000 Accord?
Thanks!

Basically, you just have to reset the ECU. Unplug the battery, and leave it unplugged for about 10 minutes. Then, plug it back in. That should fix the problem.

That's what the dealership said that they did after I came across a Check Engine light. But I know the reason that happened. Because when one of my parents took the car for gas, they opened the gas tank when the car was still running. This was back when I first got the car.
