Default So how is life with the EP Bus?? (6 month update on the 2002 Civic SI bucket)

First off, this thing will never be what the original Hatchcrap was, period.

Anylay, she's been on the road for 6 months now and I figured I'd post some comments and pics.

1: Car is soo daym heavy, hate that part, 2700ish will the aftermarket wheels and such
2: Chassis is the best (stiffest) yet from Honda, no question.
3: Brakes are WAY too small.
4: No factory problems as of yet...(crosses fingers due to the fact that the "extended factory warranty" is totally shot all-to-hell now due to the motorswap, )
5: 30K miles and still purring (10K on motor) was installed with 25K on chassis

6: Is trying to hold it's own with regards to beer drinking.

6b: The hatchcrap will always drink the Bus under the table....

7: Still gets a solid 31MPG on the road.
8: Have been asked three different times (by persons with little or no brain) all three where AT THE GAS PUMPS!!!!! "Hey, is this one of those new electric cars??" I swear, anyway..
9: Cable shifter blows compared to the old rod type.
10: etc...... blah, blah

later

Good to see that life is good with the EP.

What is your suspension/rim/tire setup?

the EP3 has too many creature comforts included... EG/EK were cheap minimalist cars that had nothing in them

just took apart the dash of an EP3 yesterday, just lookin inside the dash and the dash components... tons of weight right there already

haha, omg who's red hatch is that? The one that says "all motor" on the plates? I saw you driving like 2 years ago on the 5 freeway (I was coming back from San Francisco going back home to So cal)...you had gunmetal type R rims. I was in a rental van..cause I had picked up a jdm itr motor from my friend up there...and just when I tried catching up to you...you downshifted...and gave me goose bumps as you left my *** in the dust
I know that car by the 5 lug and the Virginia "all motor" plates. Do you live in So cal? Or were you visiting?

Would you say the new EP chassis is stiffer than our DC2R chassis? I have never experienced one first hand.
