Ok, well first of all im getting the aem pulley kit. but my friend with a swap in a hatch has the 2 aem pulley's but has a crank pulley as well which is Unorthodox pulley. Is the pulley kit alone from AEM a nice mod or do i need to get that 3rd pulley? Also who else makes that 3rd one other than unorthodox?

P.S. - Cam gears or Pulleys? Which would you get first.

If you want the crank pulley, go for the unorthodox 3-pulley set (crank,p/s,alternator). If you have the AEM set already and then decided to put on the Unorthodox crank pulley, you would be underdriving the alternator way too much.... Personally, I have the AEM underdrive pullies & the stock crank pulley and I am very satisfied & have zero problems

Its not worth it.....your altenator wont charge your battery as good and it WILL start to die. I speak from my own experience

AEM pulleys are fine. They produce a mild low end amount of power. I would def. stay away from unorthodox. The stock honda crank pulley acts as a harmonic balancer, if you mess with it you can mess up the crank and other things such as bearings. Just ge the AEM and tell me how you like them when you put them on!
i have been running the aem setup for two years on the same battery, the car started this winter in 20 below zero, the battery charges fine as long as you are not pushing any big subs or amps.
I have also HEARD (do not know for a fact) that the crank pully can through off the balance of the crankshaft itself.
I got my aem kit from http://www.optauto.com for $150 shipped

uhmm... i might not be correct, but my understanding is that the battery simply gives juice to start the car... from that point on after the engine is running, the power supply comes from the alternator which constantly regenerates itself... correct me if i'm wrong....
