Went down to the dealer today to check out the RSX-S, they had one. My salesman was going to let me drive it, however when he went to get the keys, another salesman and customer were just driving off the lot. So like 5 mins later, we find out the had just been rear ended, like a block from the dealer!! We rode down there to check it out, here are some pics! It pays to have your digicam with you at all times!!!





I guess the car is repairable, but I wonder what kind of discount they will sell for?

OUCH DAMN those things seem to disinergrate in a accident. not much intergrety to them at all. looks like it will be expensive to fix too. lol that will change a few minds about it i bet.

 

that's right. If no one is to know about it, they will sell the car as new again. I've seen new cars coming off the boat and was dented and scratched, they just took the car to a body shop, give it a new paint job and put it back on the lot.

maybe they will let you use it as a test drive car.. and let you gun is as hard as you want.. hahaha yeah right.. but that would be nice.. have a beater RSX type S for everyone to abuse and see if they really like it

 

that looks like a pretty decent smack...did the truck hit and spin around it? the detached spoiler and bumper make it look more screwed up than it probably is, but i'll bet the RSX got spun about 90 degrees from the impact...kinda funny, in a sad way..heh. Anyone notice how big the Acura emblems are getting? if they stay that large for the Type R, those suckers are gonna cost 200 bucks!

 

ever wonder why an indy car will literally disintegrate upon impact or a rollover, the tires fly every direction (not really supposed to) and the body breaks apart. If it does break, it transfers the impact to you, and something in YOUR body will break. The car is designed to obsorb and cushion the impact, its actually a very good design.

 

Dude, do you know that Acura will probably be all over you? Because these pictures are in circulation right now....( I know, I'm doin' it) and people will start to have second thoughts about the RSX.....and man, you are BAD for business!!! I'd stock up on shotgun shells if I was you!!!

Im pretty sure it was the salesman driving it, as it was literally within sight of the dealer. I think what happened was the red truck hit him in the rear corner/bumper/rear quarter panel and spun him around. It appears in the pictures (I didnt get a good look at the front of the car) that the front bumper is damaged too from hitting the truck during the spin! It looks to be pretty severe impact, but it most not have been TOO bad, b/c it appears the side airbags didnt go off. Or maybe they only come on when its a direct side impact, Im not sure.

Not true....I went to a Bugaboo Creek Steakhouse in Langhorne, PA...pretty cool place, they have this huge moose that moves and talks like every half hour...plus animals that pop out of nowhere while you're eating....
