Default Yeah, finally got it! :)

Finally after trying so hard, I got it. My friends father was in Japan last week on business and picked this up for me from their uncle who owns a dealership.
I love it. A real, true, R34 GTR shiftknob. It matches my car and looks killer. Not to mention that its from my dream car. Anyway it didn't fit on integra shifters so I'm gonna have to have it rethreaded and enlarged to fit it.
Current price for this **** is $350 or so from what I heard. However my friend some how got it for me for way cheeper. Downside it that I will have to spend some money on making it fit better. Currently I got it on and fitting, however I want it to be perfect.
Oh well, here's some pictures:

Cool!
I thought you had an actual R34 for a second. Until I read shiftknob.

Damn! That looks dope. Hey RBoosted, I see that you changed your carbon fiber trimming to something else. What kind of trimming is that? Oh yeah, be extra cautious with the shifter, don't want no stupid punk-*** rice-boy checking out and snatching that gorgeus ****!

my car is a 98 R so I don't have the faux carbon fiber trim. That trim is the aluminum trim from online. It has a gel coat on it which I wanted at first since it prevents it from heating up. However since the car is always in the garage heat is no longer a huge problem. So in a month or so I'm gonna switch to the normal aluminum trim that most people have.\

Yeah I know I gotta becareful with it. Damn, I just drove the car again and damn I love the feel of it. Especally compaired to the stock 97-98 shiftknob.

RBoosted, what do you have installed in the dash there? Looks like an impressive stereo/car entertainment system. What exactly is it?

Mike has good taste in stereo equipment . I too have a Pioneer Premier DEX-P1R deck but I have the Pioneer in dash 6 CD Changer, not the panasonic. Mike's looks kind of nice because his Panasonic changer matches the deck/trim color.

Looks like it has a six speed pattern on top as well.

By the way, do the trim rings around the stereo stuff not fit anymore?

I took the trim rings off because the Panasonic one was black and the P1R was silver. I'm currently painting the trims to match each other.

Yeah I know its kinda ricey to have a skyline part on my car, but hey its my dream car and its probally the closest I will ever come to getting one. Also no I didn't put a Nismo badge on it, etc... Yes GT is ricey but it has a red R so it kinda works.
As for 6-speed well yeah it says that but who cares. I feel its better getting this shiftknob then some ricey Razo shiftknob which everybody has. Mine is unique and actually means something to me.

Anyway, here's my stereo setup for whoever was asking about it:
Premier Pioneer DEX-P1R
Panasonic VA707 7” flip out TV monitor
Rockford Fosgate Power bd1000a1
Rockford Fosgate Power bd1000a1
Rockford Fosgate Power 800a4
MB Quart QM 218.61Q 6½" 2 Way Component Set
MB Quart PKC 116 6½" 2-Way Coaxial Speakers
Rockford Fosgate 12" Power DVC
Rockford Fosgate 12" Power DVC
AlumaPro Power Cap 15 farad
Sony Playstation 2 (for DVD)
Rockford Fosgate Punch Link
Rockford Fosgate Punch Link
Hits around 150-154dbs
(Subwoofer box is removed for racing)

Get out of here...u don't really hit 150 to 154 db, do you? That sounds pretty unbelievable. I would think more along the lines of 135 db based upon your equipment. More power to you (no pun intended) if it is true though....

Just dont play it that loud when you are in the car!

135dbs? You gotta be kidding. I hit 143-145dbs with my old setup:
P1R
RF 800a2
1farad cap
2-12" B-stock DVC's which were like 3yrs old.
That old system got me 5th place for hte loudest system in CA for 1-2 12" woofer class. My sub system totaled around 1000watts with normal DVC's which take like 1200watts max each.

The new system was tested at 151db's upon breakin period. We figure now that they are broken in, I will hit a max of under 155db's. The new sub system (not including the compontent amp) is rated at 3500watts max with power DVC's which take a max of 2000watts each.
And no I never turn it up all the way. I fear that the rear hatch window or the windshield wont take the stress.

Here's my old stats and information on the offical db dragracing site: http://www.termpro.com/asp/competito...mpetitor_ID=44

I havn't been able to update it with the new info since I hit the 151db at my shop and not at a sanctioned event. (Notice the old pictures of my car before the JDM kit). Also this year they canceled the Circuit City events so now I will have to wait till Aug to test the setup at a sanctioned event.
