i used redline mtl in my tranny 800 miles later it went. could this be the problem? i remembered that i also used it on my last tranny and it also **** the bed.

I have heard many stories that redline transmission fluid can cause premature wear.

 

I replied to this question in your other post, but I'll repeat it here for anyone who finds this topic in a search...

From what I've seen on this and other boards, people who use redline on a freshly (and properly) rebuilt tranny love the stuff. People who put in into older, worn trannies usually have their tranny blow up shortly after.

Personally, I'm sticking with Honda MTF.
