rubbing right rear tire anyone else got this?
ok i have 17x7 konig verdicts with 205/40/17 tires and maxspeed coilovers.ok only my right rear tire is rubbing now i have it jacked up and its still rubs when i turn left.any sujjestions
but its only the right rear.i would go with stiffer struts but i kinda makes no sense cause my battery is relocated to the left rear and i sit on the left side and there is no sway bar at all in the car its an std hb so you would have to figure it would be the drivers side rubbing.how do u roll the fenders?
If you've lowered the car at all, you can get some lower control arms from Specialty Products that will pull the wheels in 5 mm or so.
This usually helps with rubbing issues.

i agree that 17's are too big for 4th gens. I have 205/40/16 and it rubs sometimes. I say rolling the fenders is a good idea or maybe making it camber more? it's gonna wear the tire out faster though...

...what's the offset of the rims. I have 17inch subzeroes/205-40-17tires offset of 45 and have know issues rubbing. My car is lowered about 1.8 inches
My 16" 205/45's rubbed in the rear. A few suggestions are remove the black trim around the wheel well if you have it. If it still rubs after that take a Dremel to the wheel wells and grind out the top portion of the wheel well. Then use touch up paint, you will never notice it.

Either roll your fenders with a bat as some have done, Do search. Or you can go to a body shop and have them do it like I did, But it will cost you alot more money.
I have volk gt-p size 17 with 205 40 17 tires and my car is lowered 2.25. I only had to roll the front just so i can get up driveways, but before that they didnt rubb.
