Air Flow theory?
Hey got a question
i have a Greddy PE....and the b-pipe/resonator has deteriorated so i took it to a muffler shop to get the b-pipe replaced.
the guy replaced the b-pipe resonator with a 2.5" straight pipe, not a resonator...
the car is much louder now
the guy told me that i should see a performance gain over the greddy resonator that was in there previously b/c the straight pipe was less restrictive
i was curious to what u guys think....will a b-pipe w/o a resonator give a noticlble performance gain over a normal aftermarket catback b-pipe?
thanks

That's the same thing the guy that did my 2.5" cat back told me. mine's quite a bit louder w/o the resonator. (that probably has something to do with the larger pipe also, though)
