Default Bright Headlights?

What could i replace my stock headlight bubls with so that i can have the brightest, xenon looking headlights...without speding all that money to get a xenon conversion. So if anyone knows what type of bulb that i can buy please let me know. (the name of the bulb would help) And i dont want to see those ghetto looking headlighs that look blue but are really dull. haha thanks

Try PIAA. They seem good enough.

Yeah, I had those and they were okay.
I like Hella high wattage good output, but nothing beats true HID, and there are good deals out there, ya know.

hella high watt=bigger output but it will shorten the life of the blubs and it might burn out your harness=$$

Silverstar's.

I have had like every bulb, Nokya, PIAA, Tucan, and HID. PIAA is overpriced bulb that is the same as those $40 blue bulbs. They are the suck. I went to HID and it was lovely but I sold that kit for money problems and now am rocking the Silverstars.

Best thing to do is buy a 9005 bulb and cut the top tab off with a dremel and put in the low beam. It's either stock or Silverstar for actual light, if you want HID look alike all those bulbs are the same with the blue tint.

So true, I can't believe how much money I spent on those bulbs. Those PIAA blew out a few times and being the moron I kept replacing with PIAA. Than I said screw that price and moved onto another bulb. They make those bulbs like 100w to make up for the lack of light from that tint.

I love my silverstars I have the 9006 though I am to lazy to go 9005.

i think he's talking about a module taht boosts wattage. i think catz has one. it uses normal bulbs and boosts their output. sorta like the ballast for HID's.

Yeah just buy the Silverstars, you can get them online or just go to checker or autozone. They are very White though, If you want the Blue HID look, go with MTEC They are the best I have gotten. I got a pair of H1 and a pair of H3 for $44 buck shipped on eBay and they are badass! MTEC is a very good quality bulb. The blue is not just painted on like most of the generic. PIAA is just over priced. Has anyone seen the new BMW 745i's w/ HID lights, they are serioiusly Purple, i dont like the way they look

two words: eBay---MTEC

http://www.mtec-usa.com/

Get the Blue-Whites 4750k is the color temperature
