Wow, with those kind of mods you should be putting up at least 150. Either automatic cams or shot rings. Now I don't want to know what I'd put up.

yea having my head ported and a 2.5" exhaust probably hurts me on stock cams and fuel with the gay b16 cams. i get some more compression ctr/itr cams and more fuel/timing it will put down alot better numbers. motor runs great i ran 14.80's with it so far ill have some new times next weekend. my buddys 99 si with cai, jdm dc, apexi catback put 139 whp and 99.9 tq. i know our elevation hurts us up here

Don't forget we were at 4500 ft. That doesn't help.

for having 3 more whp and 8 more ft lbs than me

for the guy that said that he pulled a 14.41. do you have a lightened car, small wheels, and an lsd tranny cause in a stock hatch your times shouldn't be below a 14.6

Are you asking me?

14.416 @ 97.5 mph.

Mods: 2050 lbs weighed @ 3/4 tank of gas, both seats, no driver (yes, no sound deadening, no carpet, no rear interior - this is how I daily drive it). I raced at 1/4 tank of gas, 92 octane Chevron. Timing was at 15.5 degrees BTDC, air filter was kinda old and dirty, and it was an AEM CAI for a CRX Si. Exhaust was a 2 1/4" crush-bent piece with a Magnaflow SS resonator and a Flowmaster exhaust can, 3" rolled chrome tip. Catalytic converter was a 2" Carsound high-flow piece. I have a Holley 190lph fuel pump because my stock one died, and a B&M adjustable fuel pressure regulator that was set to stock (38psi). Oil is Royal Purple 5W30, spark plugs are BKR6E-11 (NGK copper) gapped to the middle of stock specs. I was using water with Redline Water Wetter, due to track requirements. Tires were Motomaster Predator 195/60R14s at stock pressure (32 psi) on stock wheels ('88 CRX Si). I have front and rear strut tower braces, Eibach Sportline springs, and Tokico Blues (non-adjustable) on the front, stock rear shocks. I also have an ACT heavy-duty clutch with a stock Integra clutch disc, and a lightened stock flywheel (12.5 lbs is what I weighed it at, down from 17 lbs). The transmission is a JDM S1 unit, non-LSD, and I have one shredded tire to prove it

Need any more info, don't hesitate to ask...

Thanks The elevation here is like 3ft about sea level (literally) so that probably has something to do with it, heheheh...

BTW how're you liking the B18C?

hay timmay those numbers look right, do you have anything for engine management?...hondata s-afc? that would help ya alot. the dyno should correct for elevation, the one at modern garage does,Im not sure about the rest of them out there.

yea the number seem ok, i know my stock cams are killing me. i dont think they dyno can compensate for elevation. IMO there would be way to much of a differeance for it to think it knows how your car would run at that elevation, casue each car would act different depending on air, temp , mods etc. but only having 140 ish whp and running 14's at 4500 ft is fine with me. im only into the car a total of 3500 max $$$. im hopefully going to boise this weekend at 2700 or so feet to get some new times

wrong

raene-
haha some areas around here are below sea level...but the track is at sea level...the b18c is not fast enough...but then its never fast enouigh is it?...it pulls harder than a b16 crx i drove before but it nets me qtrs similar to b16 efs ...by the way i pull 2.2-2.3 60s and i put down 155whp; 115TQ...you must be an awesome driver

A few years back honda tuning had a 90 Integra in their tuning pages it had a b16a with auto cams and it was only getting like 128 WHP. so you probably have Manual Cams timmay.
I wonder whos gay *** idea it was to mate a b16a with an auto tranny anyway.
